. Ensure that employees within the Operations Department have clear set goals and objectives and are meeting those objectives within the agreed timeframe
. Schedule adequate staffing for each working day and ensure that each team member receives a fair workload
. Train and develop staff with the necessary skills to complete their work to a high standard
. Ensure each staff member is familiar with the Company's Disaster Recovery plan and Fire Safety Regulations
. Ensure the Operations Department meets its agreed targets and objectives and ensure the profitable running of the Operations Department
. Ensure company equipment is maintained in good working order
. Deal with complaints and grievances and report these to the Company Directors where appropriate
. Be responsible for the safe running and security of the Operations Department
. Ensure all employees in the Operations Department comply with the Company's data protection policy and are aware of and comply with any other policies agreed with the Company's clients
. Ensure that the Operations Department and its employees comply with all current and future company policies, ensure that all practices meet insurance and regulatory guidelines, comply with standard working practices as given during training and notify the company directors of any breaches
. Prepare and supply any information required from the Operations Department for auditing by a Company Director or external auditor
. Provide a semi-annual report of the performance of the Operations Department at Year End and Mid Year.
