Reports to Chief of Staff/ President’s Office
Overview:
•Coordinate the various functions and operations for the fundraising team, including fundraising-related events, travel, and meetings, as well as managing work flow, record-keeping and follow-up. •Interact with all personnel, including the fundraising and communications teams, and directly with senior management. •Native English with excellent written communication skills. •Opportunity to be a part of the launch of Israel’s first liberal arts college.
Skills:
1.Coordinating department work flow and ensuring follow-up. ◦Track all open action items related to donors and ensure timely reminders and follow through. ◦Maintain department’s master list of responsibilities and assignments. 2.Database maintenance, knowledge management and information sharing. ◦Fundraising database maintenance, expertise with Salesforce.com desired but not required. ◦Attention to detail to ensure data consistency, completeness of entry of all information, producing necessary reports, and defining procedures to increase efficiency. 3.Support for fundraising travel. ◦Coordinate the overseas fundraising trips of senior management. ◦Interface directly with donors and community leaders, maintain and update trip schedules, work with travel agents and others to book travel and other transportation needs. 4.Support of fundraising meetings. ◦Coordinate timing, agenda and prepare meeting minutes ◦Track progress toward completion of action items 5.Support in production and distribution of donor materials. ◦Sending and ensuring delivery of proposals, books, and marketing materials to donors. ◦Coordinating and executing mass mailings and email blasts. 6.Coordination with Finance and administration. ◦Correspondence with donors. ◦Preparing Income Charts, requests for payment forms, including all vendor invoices, fundraiser and scholar expense reports. 7.Supporting logistics for events. ◦Securing appropriate venue, coordination of catering, invitations, materials, name tags etc. ◦Supporting events on-site Requirements:
•BA degree •Excellent English writing and communication skills (compared with other native speakers) •Experience with fundraising administration and databases (preferred), specific experience with Salesforce.com a definite plus. •Strong Microsoft Office skills: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Publisher desired but not required •Experience with event coordination and planning •Experience with task or project management in a multiple location company.
