||Manage and lead a team of 4 technical writers (direct reports).
• Manage team's tasks
• Assure quality of documents
• Create common standards, working processes for the entire team
• Define interfaces of the team with other team/ members in the organization
• Represent the team in the Product Management Team Leaders forum
• English – Mother tongue (US)
• Min. 10 yrs experience in technical writing in a hi-tech company.
• Min. 5 yrs Experience in managing technical writers teams (including HR and other issues).
• Understanding of programming concepts, operating systems and/or networking
• Experience with leading tools for technical writing (e.g. Web Works, MS Office, Frame Maker, Adobe Acrobat and Visio.)
• Working in an Agile methodology environment – Advantage
• Bachelor degree in English, Journalism or a related field – Advantage
• Graphic/Layout/Design skills – Advantage
• Technical knowledge – Advantage
