A non-profit Jewish Studies Institute and Taglit-Birthright Israel provider (Israel tours for students) is looking for an Office Manager & Program Coordinator.
This is a short term full time position in central Jerusalem.
Responsibilities and skills include:
•Office management, administration •Bookkeeping, filing •Coordinating of Birthright groups and temporary staff •Writing and editing of various materials in English and Hebrew •Alumni relations via phone, email, and social media resources •Phone Interviews and training. •Facilitating registration process, and customer service •Participant allocation •Synagogue administration Candidates must have the following skills:
Must be able to work as part of a team and have excellent people skills. Highly organized, reliable, flexible, and dependable. Positive, resourceful, proactive Work well under pressure and be able to multitask. Strong attention to detail Friendly, outgoing and positive personality, with strong communication skills. Passionate about Israel and Judaism Computer experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point.
Language skills: Fluent English with high proficiency in Hebrew. Strong writing and editing skills |
